TL;DR
Linus and the crew had just seven hours to turn a badminton club into Whale LAN 2025—a 250-seat public LAN party complete with a stage, LED wall, custom PCs, VR arena, retro gaming zone, vending machines and even shuffleboard. Between power gremlins, network setup, Steam cache pre-loading and VIP stations, it was a mad dash to transform an empty hall into gaming heaven.
Despite constant chaos (and a few frantic “where did I plug that in?” moments), they pulled off a full retro area, 8v8 gaming rigs, a Whale Cup tournament and a fully operational stage—showing that with enough cables and caffeine, you really can build a LAN event in under a day.
