Linus teamed up with William Osman to whip up the wildest portable NAS rig anyone’s seen—and yes, it’s gloriously janky. They stuffed an ASRock Rack mini-ITX server board, AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D, multiple 15.36 TB NVMe SSDs, an 18 TB WD Ultrastar HDD, a UniFi Pro XG PoE switch and a GaN ATX PSU into a compact chassis so William can hoard every ounce of OpenSauce footage he produces.
Along the way there were paint tips, a “most painful drop of 2025,” and even a surprise second NAS build because one wasn’t quite enough. It’s equal parts high-capacity storage wizardry and chaotic DIY banter—perfect for any video-obsessed creator on the go.
