TL;DR
Linus and William Osman team up to build a hilariously “janky” yet portable, high-capacity NAS (nicknamed the A.S.S.) for William’s Open Sauce event. From snapping in eight 15.36 TB NVMe SSDs and 18 TB hard drives to using a mini-ITX server board, GaN PSU, Ryzen 9 9950X3D, plus a backup second NAS, they cram massive storage into a suitcase-sized rig.
After plenty of comedy pain (including a “most painful drop of 2025”) and some impromptu paint tips, the duo finishes the build, tests it live at Open Sauce, and proves that you really can haul around terabytes of footage in style.
