Linus and William Osman teamed up to build a hilariously janky yet insanely capable portable NAS—nicknamed the “A.S.S.”—for William’s Open Sauce event. They crammed in multiple 15.36 TB NVMe SSDs, a mini‐ITX server board, Ryzen 9, SAS adapters, a GaN PSU and more, all to handle mountains of video footage.
Along the way there are paint tips, brutal hardware drops, a bonus second NAS, and plenty of banter. From unboxing to final field test at Open Sauce, it’s a chaotic, fun ride through one of Linus’s most over‐the‐top builds in ages.
