TL;DR
Linus and William Osman teamed up to build a hilariously “janky” yet powerful portable NAS for William’s OpenSauce video empire. They squeezed an AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D, 15.36 TB NVMe SSDs, 18 TB HDDs, up to 96 GB DDR5 RAM, a GaN ATX PSU, PoE network switch and SAS adapter into a mini-ITX chassis—complete with some accidental SSD drops and a last-minute paint job.
After testing a second NAS idea, crowbarring everything into the case, and swapping war stories, they unveiled the finished rig at OpenSauce, ready to archive all the footage William can throw at it.
