I Built a Janky Computer for William Osman!

Linus and a very enthusiastic William Osman team up to cobble together a wildly over-the-top, portable NAS for William’s Open Sauce studio. Think 15.36 TB NVMe SSDs, 18 TB HDDs, a Ryzen 9 9950X3D, oodles of DDR5 RAM, a mini-ITX server board, PoE switch and a GaN ATX PSU all squeezed into one gloriously “janky” rig. Along the way you’ll get paint tips, devastating drive drops, and even a surprise second NAS build.

By the end they wrap it up, road-test the beast at Open Sauce and marvel at how many drives you can cram into such a tiny box—proof that nerds + one brain-cell farmers can make some truly ridiculous hardware.
