TL;DR

Linus and William Osman teamed up to build a wildly over-the-top, portable NAS (nicknamed the A.S.S.) packed with massive NVMe SSDs, 18 TB HDDs, a Ryzen 9 9950X3D, DDR5 RAM, a mini-ITX server board, PoE switch and more—then whipped up a second unit for good measure. After some epic paint jobs, painful drops and plenty of nerd banter, they rolled both rigs out to Linus’s OpenSauce event for testing and show-and-tell.
