The Hisense 116UX is a jaw-dropping 116″ 4K RGB miniLED TV packing around 20,000 full-array local dimming zones (versus 10,000 or 3,600 on smaller models). Linus tests its contrast, uniformity, and real-world performance to see if sheer size can make up for a drop in zone count.
Despite its impressive brightness and color, fewer dimming zones mean more bloom and less precise blacks. In the end, the massive screen just can’t overcome those compromises—so he’s not keeping the world’s biggest TV.
