Linus Tech Tips (LTT): I'm NOT Keeping the World's Biggest TV - Hisense 116UX Review

TL;DR

Linus unboxes Hisense’s 116UX, the “world’s biggest” 4K RGB-miniLED TV, only to realize that ditching ~20,000 local dimming zones for ~10,000 (or even ~3,600 in some regions) on a massive 116″ panel seriously cranks up bloom and washes out deep blacks. Despite its jaw-dropping size and brightness, the compromise in contrast makes it hard to justify keeping.

After running through color accuracy tests, HDR demos, and dark-scene performance, Linus concludes that bigger isn’t always better—this over-sized beast looks flashy but underdelivers where it counts most. Decisions, decisions… and in this case, he’s not sold.
