TL;DR
Linus hooks up the massive 116-inch Hisense UX Series 4K RGB MiniLED—aka the world’s biggest TV—but quickly realizes that sheer size doesn’t guarantee top-notch picture. While the RGB miniLED tech is impressive, dropping from roughly 20,000 dimming zones on smaller models down to 10,000 (or even as few as 3,600) really gums up black levels and contrast.
After running through brightness, contrast and real-world movie tests (and even scheming a hybrid TV/projector setup), Linus ultimately decides that this behemoth just isn’t worth the trade-offs. Bigger isn’t always better.
