TL;DR
Linus unboxes and tests the mammoth 116″ Hisense UX 4K RGB‐miniLED TV—yes, it’s seriously huge and packs an eye‐watering number of local dimming zones—but quickly realizes that “more inches” doesn’t always mean “better picture.” Dropping from roughly 20,000 full‐array zones to 10,000 (or even just 3,600 on smaller siblings) while keeping the screen size the same hits hard on contrast and uniformity.
After running through peak brightness, contrast tests, and his own “crazy idea” for placement, Linus admits that the 116UX is impressive on paper but a logistical nightmare in real life. In short: cool flex, but he’s not keeping this beast.
