TL;DR
Linus unboxes and tests the Hisense 116UX—the “world’s biggest” 4K RGB mini-LED TV—and comes away underwhelmed. At 116″ it’s undeniably massive, but trading down from ~20,000 local dimming zones (found in smaller models) to just 10,000 or even 3,600 zones means bloomy highlights and weaker contrast that really stand out on a screen this size.
In his hands-on tests he covers brightness, uniformity and real-world movie demos, and ultimately decides the picture isn’t worth the desk-busting footprint or steep price tag. Verdict: impressive tech, but not one he’s keeping.
