Linus Tech Tips (LTT): I'm NOT Keeping the World's Biggest TV - Hisense 116UX Review

I’m NOT Keeping the World’s Biggest TV – Hisense 116UX Review

Linus dives into Hisense’s gargantuan 116-inch RGB Mini-LED TV and, while the scale is undeniably jaw-dropping, the drop from ~20,000 local dimming zones to around 10,000 (or just 3,600 on smaller models) really hits the picture quality. Sure, the brightness and contrast are solid, but the bloom control and uniformity can’t quite live up to the hype when you’re used to even finer zonal tuning.

After running tests on black levels, contrast and overall performance, Linus goes back and forth—marveling at the sheer size but nitpicking the downsides. In the end, he decides that this beast is more of a novelty than a necessity and opts not to keep the world’s biggest TV. Bigger doesn’t always mean better.
