Linus Tried VR From 1994

Linus dusts off a chunky, beige DOS-era VR headset and takes a trip back to 1994, complete with clunky hardware and dial-up nostalgia. He’s visibly stoked (and a bit wobbly) as he straps in and fires up classic shooters through early VR lenses.

Surprisingly, titles like Quake, Rise of the Triad and Descent run smoother than expected—though the headset’s weight and low resolution remind you why VR had to wait another few decades to go mainstream.
