Setting Up Our First Huge Gaming Event Was Chaos

In just seven hours, Linus and the team transformed a humble badminton club into Whale LAN 2025—a 250-seat LAN party complete with a stage, LED wall, custom PCs, VR arena, vending machines, and a retro gaming lounge. From power and networking struggles (hello, surprise breaker trips!) to wrestling with Steam cache and VIP setups, every minute was a race against the clock.

Despite tables to assemble, power issues to fix, and a “potty tour” on camera, the crew pulled off the epic Whale Cup tournament, fully decked-out Whale PCs, and even an office chair shuffleboard. It was messy, frantic, and totally worth it when the lights came up and gamers flooded in.
