Setting Up Our First Huge Gaming Event was CHAOS
Linus and the crew had just seven hours to turn a humble badminton club into Whale LAN 2025—a 250-seat LAN party complete with a stage, massive LED wall, custom “Whale” PCs, a VR arena, vending machines, and a retro gaming lounge. Between power and networking headaches, preloading Steam caches, and wrestling tables into place, the setup felt more like organized chaos than a conference hall transformation.
Despite 8v8 gaming power surges, potty tours, and an impromptu office chair shuffleboard tournament, the team pulled off every detail—from VIP stations to retro couch zones—ending with a fully lit stage and roaring crowd. It was frantic, messy, and absolutely epic.
