Linus and the team had just seven hours to convert a humble badminton club into Whale LAN 2025—a 250-seat gaming extravaganza complete with a stage, LED wall, custom PCs, a VR arena, retro gaming zone and vending machines. Between wrestling with power and networking issues, preloading a giant Steam cache, and shuffling tables (and chairs) around, they somehow pulled it off in true last-minute style.
Despite the chaos—think “potty tour,” 8v8 gaming setups struggling for amps, roll-out tape fixes and an impromptu Office Chair Shuffleboard contest—the Whale Cup went live, the LED wall lit up, and gamers dived into the LAN party of their dreams.
