With just seven hours on the clock, Linus and the crew turned a humble badminton club into Whale LAN 2025’s 250-seat gaming extravaganza. They ripped out power and network cables, pre-loaded a Steam cache, assembled tables, VIP stations, an LED wall, a stage, custom Starforge PCs, a VR arena, vending machines, retro gaming couches and even an 8v8 battle station—all while power issues and time pressure threatened to derail the whole thing.
Between frantic cable runs, office-chair shuffleboard breaks and last-minute “potty tours,” the team pulled off a miracle of event-planning chaos. In the end, chaos morphed into a full-blown gamer’s paradise, proving that with enough caffeine (and duct tape), anything’s possible.
