tl;dr
In just seven hours, Linus and the team turned a badminton club into Whale LAN 2025—a 250-seat LAN party complete with a stage, LED wall, custom PCs, VR arena, vending machines, retro gaming corner and more. Between power-distribution headaches, networking challenges, and frantic cable runs, they managed to preload game caches, rig up eight-v-eight setups, shuffle office-chair shuffleboard, and even throw in a “Whale Cup” tournament.
Along the way they showcased sponsor gear (ThreatLocker, Starforge PCs, Ubiquiti networking, AMD Ryzen, Kingston RAM, GIGABYTE RTX 5090) and highlighted the chaos of last-minute installs—LED walls going up, toilets getting their own “potty tour,” and final tape-to-tape sound checks—all before the doors swung open.
