Our team had just seven hours to turn a badminton club into a 250-seat LAN extravaganza, racing against time (and power plugs) to rig up networking, tables, a massive LED wall and stage, plus custom “Whale” PCs. Between power hiccups during the 8v8 setup, preloading a Steam cache, and even a bathroom tour, it was non-stop chaos from start to finish.
On top of the main tournament floor, we squeezed in a retro gaming lounge, VR arena, vending machines and a shuffling office chair shuffleboard. In the end, Whale LAN 2025 came together with every last pixel locked, staged and ready to game.
