Setting Up Our First Huge Gaming Event was CHAOS
Linus and the team had just seven hours to turn a humble badminton club into Whale LAN 2025, a 250-seat gaming playground complete with a massive LED stage, custom PCs, a VR arena, retro gaming nooks, and even vending machines. Between power grid overloads, network hiccups, and furniture logistics, it was nonstop controlled chaos from start to finish.
Despite the hurdles—steam caching servers, chair shuffleboard detours, and last-minute table shuffles—they pulled off a fully loaded LAN party with VIP stations, an 8v8 setup, and a finishing touch that even included a tape-to-tape recording area. Total pandemonium, total success.
