Setting Up Our First Huge Gaming Event was CHAOS

In just seven hours, Linus and the team turned a humble badminton club into Whale LAN 2025—a 250-seat LAN party complete with a custom stage and LED wall, branded PCs, a retro gaming lounge, VR arena, vending machines and even a VIP setup. Between network hiccups, power shortages, and last-minute table installs, every minute was a race against the clock.

Despite the pandemonium—complete with “potty tours,” shuffleboard on gaming chairs and an 8v8 gaming setup plagued by more power woes—they pulled it off, crowned a Whale Cup champion, and wrapped with a fully operational event that looks as epic as it sounds.
