Linus Tech Tips (LTT): Something is Living in my Pool-Cooled Gaming PC

Linus and the team tried using a backyard swimming pool to cool their LAN-center gaming rigs. They fixed the corrosion issue, only to find that some weird biofilm (and a pretty intense smell) had taken up residence in the loops. So they tore everything apart, ran chemical and UV cleansers, and even blasted it with a “death ray” UV wand to kill the mystery invaders.

This video is a fun, informal look at the trials and tribulations of extreme DIY liquid cooling: from assembling pool-water blocks to disassembling PCs, diagnosing slime, and flushing out the system—complete with stink, suspense, and hopefully a squeaky-clean finish.
