Something is Living in my Pool-Cooled Gaming PC

Linus and the LTT crew thought they’d solved the big issue with using swimming pool water to cool a rack of gaming PCs—corrosion was under control, custom fittings in place, all was well. But now the pool loop is smelling funky and showing signs of some uninvited occupants growing inside the tubing.

In this video they rip apart the LAN Center rigs, flush and disinfect every part of the cooling loop, experiment with UV “death rays,” fancy filters, and all sorts of chemical concoctions to finally evict whatever’s been living in their pool-cooled PCs.
