Something cool and gross is happening in Linus’s pool-cooled LAN Center PCs: after finally squashing corrosion worries, a funky-smelling biofilm has taken up residence in the water loops. The team cracks open the rigs, sniffs out the slime and debates whether ounces of biocide, chemical flushes or full-on UV “death rays” are the best way to kill off whatever’s living in their gaming setup.
Armed with preventative additives, intense cleaning sessions and some DIY sterilization tricks, they wade through the muck to see if they can restore crystal-clear performance—or if they’ll need to call in a hazmat squad next time.
