Cloud gaming has finally nailed it—Nvidia’s GeForce NOW delivers near-local performance on big titles like Indiana Jones, Borderlands 4, and Apex Legends. Linus Tech Tips pitted it against a top-tier PC and was surprised by how solid resolution, framerates, and input responsiveness have become.

That said, a world where you rent hardware forever isn’t without trade-offs: subscription fees, possible server hiccups, and hefty bandwidth needs still linger. Even so, owning a $2,000 GPU in 2025 suddenly feels a lot less essential.
