TL;DR
Cloud gaming has finally leveled up—Nvidia GeForce NOW delivers surprisingly smooth performance in titles like Indiana Jones, Borderlands 4 and Apex Legends, even on modest internet connections. After side-by-side tests with a beefy local rig (Ryzen 7 9800X3D, RTX 5080, OLED 4K 240 Hz), the latency and visual fidelity gap isn’t as massive as you’d think.
That said, it’s not a perfect replacement for owning a powerhouse PC—there’s still the occasional input lag and streaming artifact. But if you hate GPU upgrades or just want to game on lightweight gear, cloud gaming’s finally worth a serious look.
