Elijah just pulled off Linus’s month-long mission to turn 16 mini-ITX rigs into the ultimate 8v8 LAN party setup. From unboxing custom Hammond server racks to stuffing BD790I X3D boards, G.SKILL DDR5 SO-DIMMs, Crucial NVMe SSDs and Radeon RX 9070 XTs into each chassis, he battled sourcing delays, cable spaghetti and even a few broken screwdrivers.
Once the hardware was locked in, Elijah dove headfirst into ggRock deployment, network configuration and cable management (hello, 16 ethernet runs) at Whale LAN. After some last-minute networking hiccups, the battlestation roared to life—proof that even the most absurd builds can go from “meh” to “HECK YEAH!” with enough time, patience and RGB.
