They unexpectedly scored a $40 000+ environmental test chamber for just \$1 000 at auction, giving LTT Labs a second unit to play with. The catch? The original maker has folded, it’s sat unpowered for a decade, and it’s been weather-beaten in a surplus yard—so bringing it back to life is going to take some serious ingenuity.
Despite the hurdles—getting it through the door, figuring out its cooling and controls, and sourcing parts—they’re turning this box of problems into a hands-on rebuild adventure. Will they revive it? Stay tuned for troubleshooting, jury-rigging and, hopefully, a fully operational chamber for future LTT experiments.
