TL;DR

Valve just surprised us with a true living‐room Steam Machine console (not to be confused with the Steam Deck) and a sleek new Steam Controller that aim to outshine PlayStation and Xbox. It’s basically a compact PC running SteamOS, boasting high‐end specs, modular upgrades and that signature Steam ecosystem for seamless PC gaming on your TV.

On the controller side, expect refined ergonomics, haptic feedback and a mysterious “Puck” accessory for extra input options. Price looks competitive, but availability and deeper SteamOS details are still under wraps.
