No trailer. No hype video.
Just a 2027 date sitting inside an AMD roadmap slide.
Very unsexy. Probably important.
If that timing is real, it feels like Microsoft isn’t chasing specs anymore.
Less “most powerful console ever,” more waiting for a real architectural jump.
AI acceleration, efficiency, balance… not just teraflops.
But 2027 also brings an awkward question I can’t shake:
In a world of cloud gaming, subscriptions, PC overlap, and cross-gen everything…
will people still care about upgrading a box under the TV?
Or does the box just become another access point?
Funny how the loudest console news sometimes hides in the quietest slides.
