Every Other VR Headset Is Obsolete Now – Steam Frame First Look
Valve just dropped the Steam Frame, a slick wireless VR headset that leans on 5 GHz/6 GHz Wi-Fi and foveated streaming to crank out crazy-high resolutions with almost zero lag. It’s packing custom optics, revamped controllers and a tiny ARM-powered “FEX” puck that handles all the heavy lifting—no bulky PC strapped to your back.
Linus gives it a spin and is seriously impressed: the setup is way more streamlined than traditional tethered headsets, and that low-latency, eye-tracked streaming feels shockingly smooth. If Valve nails the software side, this could shake up the whole VR space.
