TL;DR
Linus and William Osman teamed up to cobble together the “jankiest” yet ultra-portable, high-capacity NAS for storing all of Will’s camera footage. They stuffed 15.36 TB NVMe SSDs, a Ryzen 9 9950X3D, a compact ASRock Rack mini-ITX board and loads of RAM into a tiny chassis, slapped on some paint, and even built a second NAS “just because.”
The build gets road-tested at Open Sauce, complete with network switch hookups and more drives than you can shake a screwdriver at. Along the way there’s banter about drops, paint jobs and why two NASes are better than one—concluding with a triumphant reveal at the event.
