Linus Tech Tips (LTT): I'm NOT Keeping the World's Biggest TV

TL;DR

Linus unboxes and benchmarks the insanely large Hisense 116″ Class UX Series 4K RGB-MiniLED TV, comparing its ~10,000 (and even lower end-tier) local dimming zones to the flagship ~20,000-zone setup in the 116UX. While the picture is still impressive for its size, the reduced zone count and diminishing returns in contrast control ultimately make him rethink keeping the “world’s biggest TV.”

Along the way, he also experiments with the NexiGo Nova Mini projector for a more affordable way to hit huge screen sizes. After brightness, contrast, and local-dimming tests (plus a few tech detours), Linus decides that sometimes smaller—or at least more practical—is indeed better.
