In his latest video, Linus dives into the absurdity of the 116″ Hisense UX RGB Mini-LED 4K TV—the “world’s biggest” screen you can buy. On paper, its mini-LED backlight and jaw-dropping size promise an unmatched home-theater experience, but cutting local dimming zones from roughly 20,000 to about 10,000 (and under 4,000 on lower tiers) leads to noticeable blooming, uneven blacks, and a less refined picture than expected.
After towing this behemoth around and running through tests, Linus decides sheer scale isn’t enough to justify the price, bulk, and performance trade-offs. Instead, he suggests something like the portable NexiGo Nova Mini projector for hassle-free “movies anywhere” viewing—proof that sometimes portability beats raw screen size.
