TL;DR
Linus takes on the Hisense 116UX, a colossal 116″ 4K RGB-miniLED TV that promises wow-factor size and deep blacks. On paper it’s impressive, but it only sports about 10,000 (or even as few as 3,600) local dimming zones—far shy of the ~20,000 zone setups he’s loved before—so you lose contrast and precision on a display this huge.
After running through bright scenes, shadow details and even a few wild experiments, he ultimately decides the trade-offs aren’t worth it. Bigger doesn’t always mean better, and in this case the world’s biggest TV just didn’t make the cut.
