TL;DR
Linus took the monster 116″ Hisense UX 4K RGB-MiniLED TV for a spin, only to find that dropping from ~20,000 full-array local dimming zones down to ~10,000 (or even ~3,600 in some modes) on the same giant panel leads to noticeable blooming and uniformity quirks. Despite its jaw-dropping size, brightness, and punchy contrast, those dimming trade-offs leave him underwhelmed.
After running through movie tests and real-world viewing, he admits it’s an impressive piece of tech—but not impressive enough to keep. The sheer scale can’t mask the compromises, so he’s sending the “world’s biggest TV” packing.
