Setting up Whale LAN 2025 was an absolute scramble—Linus and crew had just seven hours to rig up power, networking, and a Steam cache while transforming a badminton club into a 250-seat LAN event. They squeezed in a stage, LED wall, custom “Whale” PCs, a VR arena, vending machines, and a retro gaming corner, all while battling last-minute table builds, power failures, and general chaos.
Despite the mayhem, everything clicked into place: the LED screens lit up, VIP rigs got their glow-up, the Whale Cup kicked off flawlessly, and gamers flooded in to fill every seat. What began as total pandemonium ended up being one of Linus Media Group’s slickest in-person LAN parties yet.
