Setting Up Our First Huge Gaming Event was CHAOS
Linus and the team had just seven hours to turn a badminton club into a 250-seat LAN extravaganza, complete with a stage, LED wall, custom PCs, VR arena, vending machines and a retro gaming corner. Power shortages, last-minute network tweaks and non-stop setup pressure made for pure chaos as they raced the clock.
From laying down a Steam cache and assembling tables to rigging an 8v8 gaming zone, fine-tuning a VIP area, rolling out the Whale Cup tournament and even squeezing in some office-chair shuffleboard, every minute was a mad dash. In the end, they pulled off Whale LAN 2025 with a fully kitted-out gaming paradise—just in time.
