Linus and the team had just seven hours to transform a humble badminton club into Whale LAN 2025—a 250-seat gaming fiesta complete with a stage, massive LED wall, custom PCs, a VR arena, vending machines and a cozy retro gaming corner. Between setting up power and networking, preloading the Steam cache, and wrangling tables and chairs, it was pure chaos from the moment they rolled in.
Despite blown circuits, last-minute VIP rigging, 8v8 gaming power surges and even an impromptu shuffleboard match with office chairs, they pulled it off. By the final “tape to tape” livestream, Whale LAN 2025 was up and running, proving that nothing beats a caffeine-fueled team and a whole lot of duct tape.
