Terrible News, Cloud Gaming is Good Now
Linus and the LTT crew put Nvidia’s GeForce NOW through its paces on a high-end rig—testing Indiana Jones, Borderlands 4, and Apex Legends in the cloud versus local hardware—and found that, in 2025, streaming games has finally caught up to beefy PCs in both performance and responsiveness.
But before you cancel your GPU preorder, remember that “good” cloud gaming still means relying on perfect internet, surrendering hardware ownership, and trusting third-party servers with your gameplay. It’s impressive tech, sure, but maybe not the gamer’s paradise you’d hoped for.
