Linus just proved you can build a solid gaming rig for $1,600 using strictly MSRP parts—no scalper gouging. He slotted in an AMD Ryzen 5 9600X, MSI PRO B650-A WiFi, 32 GB DDR5-6000, a 2 TB Acer Predator SSD, a Thermalright Frozen Notte 360 AIO, Phanteks’ XT Pro Ultra case, Seasonic’s 850 W Gold PSU and capped it off with an ASUS RTX 5070 Ti. After tallying everything, it actually came out to $1,600—even with today’s nutty RAM prices.
And yes, he peppers the video with affiliate links and sponsors (Secretlab chairs, PIA VPN, dbrand skins), so if you grab your parts through his links you help keep the channel rolling without feeding scalpers. Enjoy the build and game on!
