TL;DR

Linus teamed up with maker William Osman to build a crazy, portable NAS for this year’s OpenSauce event—stuffing 15 TB NVMe SSDs, an ASRock Rack mini-ITX board, Ryzen 9 9950X3D, a UniFi PoE switch and more into one slick box. They even whipped up a second identical NAS for backups, survived the “most painful drop of 2025,” and threw in custom merch and paint tips for good measure.

In under 20 minutes they went from bare components to a fully loaded, rack-ready rig that can haul terabytes of footage anywhere—just in time to show off at OpenSauce.
