Packed into a mini-ITX ASRock Rack chassis, it houses massive Kioxia 15.36 TB NVMe drives, a Ryzen 9 9950X3D CPU, tons of DDR5 RAM and a high-speed SAS adapter—basically the craziest NAS build Linus has done in ages.
Along the way you get laughs, build mishaps (hello, painful drops) and pro tips as they finish the box, jet off to the OpenSauce event and show it off to the LTT community. It’s part hardware deep-dive, part buddy comedy—and totally overkill for your average home server.
