Setting Up Our First Huge Gaming Event was CHAOS

In just seven hours, Linus and the team turned a run-of-the-mill badminton club into Whale LAN 2025—a 250-seat LAN party complete with a giant stage, LED wall, custom PCs, retro gaming nook, VR arena, vending machines and even office-chair shuffleboard. Of course, power hiccups, networking headaches and frantic cable runs threatened to derail the whole thing.

Between pre-loading Steam caches, wrestling tables into place and juggling 8v8 setups, it was pure mayhem—but somehow they pulled it off just in time for the Whale Cup.
