Terrible News, Cloud Gaming is Good Now
Cloud gaming has come a long way in 2025, and Nvidia’s GeForce NOW proves it. Linus and the team ran through big-name titles like Indiana Jones, Borderlands 4 and Apex Legends, comparing cloud performance on a 4K/240 Hz (or 1080p/480 Hz) OLED monitor versus local hardware. Surprisingly, streaming quality is crisp and consistent, with only minor artifacts or stutters.
Despite the occasional latency hiccup and reliance on a solid internet connection, GeForce NOW now stands as a legit alternative to owning top-end PC gear. While local play still wins on pure responsiveness, cloud gaming’s convenience and near-parity in visuals make it an option worth considering for gamers on the go.
